The Aero ECU is exactly the same for the auto and manual. The only difference is in the ECU wiring as stated. If the pin (14) is open the ECU switches to Mitsubishi TD-04 mode, which has different maps, of course. Research this if you don't believe me as this is also stated in the SAAB service manual.
