Ok. Just had to ask to minimize confusion.

With properly charged and working A/C system, it allows the low and high speed fan to come on through different pathways than the temp sensor. It is still DICE that turns on the fan when A/C clutch kicks in but with different inputs.

Here is a schematic from WIS.

Have you had a scan tool hooked up monitoring the engine temp while idling and confirmed that the temp reaches 100°C with no fan engagement and if so, does the temp keeps climbing until 113°C and high speed kicks in?
