When we got our brand-new '89 900, Saab still used the big oil filters. There's not much room in between the alternator, engine mount, & oil fill tube.
Well, the big fat (+) wire on the alternator is awful close there, too. It doesn't have a fuse, either! After that first time, I began disconnecting the battery to change oil...
