Who's more technologically advanced European ...

auto-makers or Japanese automakers?
Unlike their reputation Japanese automakers, notably Honda, seems to be
leading the field in innovations.
So, are the Japanese ahead of the Europeans in technoligical innovation
in areas such as Hybrid technology?
If so, where does that leave Saab, and where does that leave American
automobile makers.
It seems that both Saab and American auto-makers have chosen reliability
over cutting edge innovation, whereas Audi chooses the opposite. But,
the Japanese automakers seem to achieve innovation as well as reliability.
However, why can't the Japanese still not manage to produce any cars with
spirit, soul and fun?
Cheers,
jae
