In an international marketplace like the one we're in now, what does it mean to call a car "Japanese," "German, " etc.? Is Saab Swedish because its headquarters are located there? American because it's owned by an American company? What about all the "German" parts in them, and so forth? Due to the evolution of world capitalism, it's more and more difficult to identify a brand as having one nationality or another. How then can this discussion have any meaning?
