Hae Jae! 'Sup? How's that book going?? :-D
As much as I enjoy driving my '90 C900, I can see the day where the spirit, soul & fun of driving are replaced with some kind of pod/linked people-movers you might find in a Philip K. Dick story. It's just too damned efficient to ignore. The image of driving across vast plains with the sun in your face, or weaving thru loamy hillside roads "just 'cuz," will go the way of gunslingers in the Old West or Horatio Nelson Jackson's impulsive "adventure."
Enjoy it now dude, 'cuz the way technology's going it won't be long before all our driving's done virtually. Crichton's "Westworld" meets Disney's "Autopia" perhaps.....?
