Well isn't that something? "I will not respond to any replies as I don't want this to get argumentative." Chaz, it seems like you always write that when you respond to something I post...it's like hitting someone from behind and then running away. Why do you do that I wonder? Why do you think my goal would be to argue with you? I certainly don't desire to argue with you, but I do stand ready to debate you and help you understand things more clearly and rationally.

Anyway, I would certainly think that any MD who was worth anything would at least have a vague idea of what severe hypothermia will do to a body... For example, that it will cause things like burning sensations and confusion (likely the reason he took his clothes off). Knowing that now, how does your "bread crumb" theory stand up? Shouldn't an MD also know that one week without food is not nearly a dire life and death situation, no matter how uncomfortable it may be?

Again, no offense intended to the bereaved, but my definition of heroism is not a situation where a person makes multiple mistakes and ultimately looses their life as a result of those multiple (and easily preventable) mistakes.

There's nothing "mean spirited" or wrong about the truth. An example of something that is "wrong" is when history and events are distorted and the actual real-life lesson that could otherwise benefit mankind is lost.

Chaz, if you want to write back, I will make it a priority to address your comments. If you feel like you'd like to converse off of this forum please feel free to click on my name above and send me an email directly.
