I think load carrying has become less of a priority to automakers in general as suspensions become more sophisticated, ride quality standards increase, and now that everyone who throws a bag of mulch in their car once a month buys an SUV. There's no way that you're going to damage the solid axle in a C900 or 9k (plus it allows for more cargo space) but no one is interested in that due to the somehwat compromised ride and handling.
I would be annoyed if I were you too. Who wouldn't be when a heavy load damages their car? I would also be glad that the dealer actually fixed the damage several times instead of blaming you. You've obviously addressed your concerns to the dealer and to Saab corporate, but nothing is going to increase the load carrying cabaility of your car. It's only going to cause you stress You really just need to move on and find a vehicle that can better suits your needs.
