OEM 17" tires.
Both the Kumho ASXs and Conti DWSs are classified as "ultra high performance all season", so yes they aren't exactly advertised as good snow tires but they certainly are better than pure summer tires. And as you say I'm sure they get worse as they wear down. With the amount of snow we typically get here in MD I can usually work around the snow.
My broader point is that I don't think Saabs are anything special wrt snow performance. Maybe back when everything was RWD the rare FWD Saab was superior, but compared to similar size FWD vehicles I don't think they're better at all. It's all in the tires, hence my Saturn, Civic, and Accord all being better while shod with regular or touring type all season tires.
