I think the 9-5 is by far the best car of the three for long distance cruising. I just put Pirelli P Zero Neros on it and it handles amazingly well, considering it still has its original shocks. At almost 9 yrs old, they probably should be replaced soon. My 9000 has new shocks and SAS sway bars and loves the corners now. That alone makes me want to redo the 9-5s shocks.
I think there are certain more simplistic features on the 9000 which I prefer (my 9-5 has had chronic ACC issues...finally fixed, I think?) but I love them both for what they are.
Oh, my 9000 Aero is a manual, my 9-5 Aero wgn is an auto.
