As a part of a Market Strategy project conducted at the Linköping Institute of Technology, we are investigating Saabs target marketing program during the past 15 years. We have understood that the "typical" U.S. Saab owner is widely different from their Swedish peers. A Swedish magazine put it like "a rich, US housewifes toy". What about that statement?

So we are curious: what is a typcal US Saab driver like? Who drivers a Saab? Can you tell from just looking at someone that he/she is a Saab owner? Is it a typical first or second car? Does the typical traits of the owner vary in different parts of the US? Does the traits match the people Saab tries to reach through it's advertisements?

We appreciate if you could help us along with our study and give us some hints.
