I went to Miami due to the fact my dad was the provost there. Hard to turn down a free education, but over the years it has worn well and US News and others point out what a bargain it is.
I got my masters in counseling from the University of Dayton. Good experience there as well.
One thing I have noticed after attending these institutions is the alumni efforts the schools make once you have left. The activities Miami sponsors are usually fun events, and business mixers. Lots of jobs and sales are brokered at these events, so it is useful if you go into business. The activities that the University of Dayton sponsor include the "meet and greets" and family sporting events as well, but they also have community service projects. They made it clear at our graduation dinner that they expected us to apply our knowledge and give back to our communities, which I found surprisingly refreshing.
I guess my point is that you should find out a little about the philosophies of the organizations you are contemplating, and find one that will suit you and meet your needs now and throughout your life. Good luck.
