My high school is ridiculous. I go to Newton North High School in Newton, MA with 2199 of my closest friends. I got a 1400 on my SAT's and have a 3.95 GPA, and I am BARELY in the top 10% of my class, that is how ridiculous my school is. A kid in my AP American Studies class came in one day and said he got his SAT scores back and was happy, but knew he could do better, and he got a 1550. Going to my current school, I live in an environment that is as competitive or more competitive than any college I could imagine. Life is also a giant competition in this day and age as well, so I may as well just dive in early and learn to swim by trying to gain admission to a Georgetown or a Dartmouth.
