Since you would like to go to Harvard, why not look into Duke University. It is a super University and the students refer to Harvard as the "Duke of the North." It has a beautiful campus. Another University you may find interesting is Northwestern. It's in a nice town on Lake Michigan and a short commute to Chicago. All the schools you mentioned are excellent and you would get an excellent education at any one of them.I made a hobby of visiting colleges with my children and visited most of the schools you mentioned. If I had a choice, I would attend Duke University. It is worth a trip. You can also check out North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is a Public Ivy and difficult to get in. My daughter is a graduate of DUKE and my son has his Masters from Harvard. Just a word of advise. Don't turn yourself down regarding the admission process. Let the school do that. You may be surprised. Good Luck
