A friend of mine went to Middlebury and loved it. Lots of Saabs there, too! Great Saab shops all over. Lots of rust, though. : (
Being from MD, I wanted to get away for a bit. I went to UNC, and loved it. I havemoved back up to MD, though. Consider going south (UVA is a good choice, though better for grad programs) Georgetown is great, but ultra-competitive, which can be counterproductive for some types of students. Good weather makes student life much easier! The snows of the north can get to you, especially with their length. Having extended warms seasons made college more bearable for me.

There is a dearth of quality mechanics (technicians) out there. Go to work for a dealership, get ASE certified, and open your own Saab or other shop. Dealerships are paying out big bucks right now for quality employees due to the labor shortage Make stacks of cash and do something fun (if you like tinkering with cars). I know I wish I was doing that right now! I am aiming for a law degree within the next five years, though I currently work for a major law firm as a Paralegal (studied Political Science and beer drinking at UNC).
Have fun, enjoy your senior year of high school... it goes by quickly (as does the 4 years of college)
