Schools all over the country and the world recognize that various high schools have various reputations. From the sound of things, any number of top-notch colleges around the country have already accepted students from your high school from previous graduating classes.... students who have excelled in their University programs.

Number 100 at your school is comparable to being heads and shoulders ahead of the number one student from PoDunk High School. The disparity in the qualities of educations high school students receive based on geography is alarming when studied honestly. As unfair as that is (and I'd like to call attention to the need for the gap to be addressed immediately), a select few high school are recognized as the "best" in the country. My high school was selected by Redbook Magazine as one of those top high schools... no doubt it helped many students get into excellent colleges that might have looked the other way based on raw scores. Additionally, college admissions officers recognize that high schools like your breed good college students, ones they want at their University. It is not always about how well you did in high school; what is more important is how they think you will perform in college.

What were your extra curiculars, if any? If you have none, join something quick! Your Saab enthusiasm does matter to them, BTW! (Especially around Boston!) Focus on what sets you apart from these crazy people who say they could have done better when they got a 1550. That is moronic, and someone who says that has no real perspective on the world. He still scored better than 99% of the people taking the test!

Good luck, we're all counting on you (line from Airplane!)
