I had an Eagle Talon when I was in the Navy. It broke down about three weeks before Christmas one year. My Mom called at the time to try to help push the car through repair without me knowing. The dealer quickly then said the engine seized due to lack of oil and voided my warranty. The district rep looked at the car and agreed. Only one problem the engine would turn over, and a seized engine won't, and it did have enough oil in the engine. I contacted Eagle and we went to arbitration at no additional fee. It took about a month and the independent found the engine in working order. The Eagle/Jeep dealership was taken away form the dealer and the car returned to me. Don't remember the arbitor but it was a positive outcome. Eagle's legal department made all the arrangements.
The sad thing is this was the first car after my classic 900. I kept the car for about 3 more years and then went back to Saab.
