I wouldn't say I'm a K&N faithful, but there are some misleading factors in the tests, and some very misleading comments made by the writers. For example, they say that the K&N plugged three times as fast as the the Delco. However, their definition of plugged is relative to initial flow. The "plugged" K&N was probably still flowing more air than the Delco did at the start of the test. It's also common knowledge that the K&N filters better after accumulating some dirt, but since the test stopped because it was "clogged", there's no data for that.
