The data is at the link.
I don't have a way to post pictures of the Experimental Saab but I saved them on my computer. If someone can share them on their website I will email them to them. It is pretty interesting what Saab did to tweak the car - at least, those things that you can actually see.
As for relying on "net" info, well, yes, I found it on the intarweb. But just because it's on the web doesn't mean it's not valid. Hell, you can get EPA reports, FDA data, NACA research, census statistics, etc. on the internet - does that mean their contents are less valid simply because I didn't go to a university library for it? No, the filter test wasn't performed by SAE or Ford or BMW or Honda, but it's as close as you're likely ever going to get, regardless of which medium it's published on.
Intarweb-based car performance info "sources" are usually unreliable because they are often uncited, unscientific, conducted in someone's garage, without a control, aren't conducted blind, or are based on someone's butt dyno, or the butt of someone's buddy's buddy. Sorry, but I don't trust someone's backside's impressions of a modification they do to their car after they laid down, say, $300 for it. People work hard for their money and don't like to feel ripped off, let down by their purchase, or embarassed.
As for dyno-testing done by the Swedish Dynamics guy, that's cool and I would be interested in seeing the results. Post your dyno sheet.
Am I the only one who needs proof that what I'm doing to my car will actually improve its performance before tearing into it???
Post email so I can send pics of the Experiment Saab.
