That could push us over the edge. Except for one thing....
the ferry from St. John to Digby is already seriously over priced. It's $94 plus a $20 "fuel surcharge" each way for a car, plus a per head cost for each passenger. We save $160 by driving around (instead of taking the ferry) in both directions to buy 2 weeks of groceries or a couple dinners out. And time savings fro the ferry are minimal. But if a car could be recharged it would make it better. Then I just add a 240V line at the house.
Maybe Bay Ferries will get around to it!
