Dear Board Contributors,
It takes me by great surprise that whenever some guys have to spend money they start cribbing. For someone who had driven 59,000 miles the cost to replace the D.I. cassette should not be a problem. It is not the actual value of the part which can go wrong with anything at any time and with any car or even for that matter even a human being. What you should actually look at it is overall cost of ownership of a very safe car which gives you the performance of a thorough bred sports car. Yes high performance cars have high wear and tear and thence high maintenance but compare what you have with what you get for this much money. Also, take the total you have spent on the car other than fuel and oils and divide it by the miles you have driven to come to a per mile expense. That is what you should look at and not at nitty gritty and just get disgusted for nothing.
Best Regards
Tashfeen Qayyum
