I have a suggestion being that I've battled the same issues. Follow all the suggestions you see in the threads, and I'll ad this -- change the supply hose from the reservoir to the clutch master whether you think it needs it or not.
Go to a Volkswagen repair shop and they have the exact hose you need, but you'll probably have to take the hose there and ask for a replacement. I pay them $20 for the hose, but it's worth it to me as it is brake fluid resistant and a wrapped braided hose like the OE one that is NLA.
Be careful with the new clutch master to slave hoses -- compare the ends that go into the slave to make sure they have very similar appearances. When the aftermarket hoses showed up on the market, there was something different with the tip, and I had a brand new one leak -- it proves to be a pain in the backside still to this day -- I just haven't gone back to rectify it.
