I know you're referring to my mention of perceived poor quality coming out of China, but the main gist of my message was if GM has to pay some exhorbitant amount of $ out of every car they make because of employee benefits and pension obligations, they can get around this by moving everything to China, where they wouldn't have to pay the labor as much.
I'm not suggesting this is the RIGHT thing to do, I'm just wondering what's stopped them from thinking of this?
