It's fun to rent different cars to find out what the American car companies are putting out. GM seems to be all over the place. The Malibu rides like a POS but get almost 30mpg out of a V6. Cobalt was ok but not much power. I couldn't even see out of the crazy HHR. The surprise hit was the Chrysler Avenger. Some power and nice handling but the interior was bland.
All in all, I'd rather drive any Saab I have ever owned rather than anything American I've ever rented.
