California may have waves in the "winter", but *this* is the winter surf where I grew up (see link below)... I'm landlocked at the moment, but get back to visit whenever I can...

The seasons are awesome! I wouldn't trade them for anything... but it's true that Cali is a heck of a lot of fun to visit!
