Early 90's you could start getting fuel injection which would be worth while. Don't be afraid of a 32-34' they aren't really any harder to drive and are more common. I really like the classic Airstream motor homes (they're surprisingly compact) but they're getting hard to find and expensive. Very well built. But the newer conventional ones are pretty good too. Barths are good but hard to find. I had a Bluebird forward control. It was built like a locomotive and cost as much to maintain. What I figured out is you don't need a locomotive to go camping. We lived aboard it for a year--great fun. We also had a Beaver gas powered, very well built but rare. I'm sure I'll think of a few others.
