I've got two candidates I'm taking a look at in the next week. Both are '93 Fleetwoods, one is a 28' Bounder and the other is a 30' Coronado. Neither owner knows much about the details - lots of "I'm not sure, you should come take a look." I think both are P30s with fuel injected 454s and 4L80Es, which seems like a great combo. Thankfully Fleetwood has all their owners manuals going back 20 some odd years on the internet, so I'm not walking in blind. I also checked out a bunch of for sale videos on Youtube - something I'd never thought about doing before, but turned out to be quite helpful. I have a better idea about what to expect on the side. After a bunch of reading, the Bounder is very attractive - it's the right size, Fleetwood sold bazillions of them, and they have some genuinely neat features. I think it's supposed to have a 90 or 100 gallon (heated) fresh water tank, which sounds awesome!

I have a third option which - brace yourselves - is a 1980 Revcon. It looks amazing, but again the owners are evasive with the details. It really does look awesome, though. It's old and FWD and has all sorts of marks against it, but like a c900 it's a little unconventional and very interesting, so it has my attention. If the other two don't work out, I'm going to fly down to SoCal in a week or two and check out the Revcon and maybe a Holiday Rambler that's down there.

The two local rigs are kinda boring, but they really seem like a good bet... modern, clean, and highly featured. Although I really want that Revcon, I hope the Fleetwoods are nice and don't give me a reason to doubt them.
