These things do look super cool and have awesome road presence. It definitely has an 80/90s vision of the future type look. I saw one street parked in DC and it stopped me in my tracks. Fortunately the owner was kind of enough to have information posted in the window explaining what the heck it was. Also, note the street parked part, these things are small and maneuverable. They were actually billed as the sport RV, capable of cruising at 100mph. I guess when you look at the frontal area and weight compared to a traditional Class A, and the miserable power rating big blocks had until recently, it might make sense. But it's also a little hard to imagine an engine that made a 5-series slow being too quick in this thing.

The other iconoclast's choice in the old GMC six wheel front wheel drive RV, which I think still has a pretty loyal following.
