I think the scavenging principles are very similar on both a 4 stroke and a two stroke engine. The tuning of the header aids in the scavenging effect on both motors, but the 2 strokes respond much better, kind of like how na cars respond better to tuned exhaust compared to a turbo charged engine. I don't know, maybe I am way off on this one?
