I drove my gradnmother's Avalon the other day and compared to my Saab 93ss, it is ultra quiet and squishy soft suspension. A great car to drive in a funeral procession. My 93ss is the Linear model with the softer suspension and my girlfriend who drives a 93 aero always compliments me on the softer ride in my car compared to her Aero. I on the other hand love the laser like steering and lower ride suspension of her Aero. Its amazing how two cars on the same platform drive totally different and feel totally different by lower springs and stiffer suspension and lower profile tires. I;m sorry I cant comment on your original question, although I must admit that my girlfriends aero has had more electronic problems tham my linear of the same year and platform. So you may have a valid point. BTW I assume you drive an Aero?
