is the way they block the road. Same for minivans and most pickup trucks. When you're in a car you can't see through them, so you might as well be behind a box truck or a school bus. IMO, many are too big and are a nuisance on the road.
Compared to people in regular cars, SUV (and large pickup truck) drivers seem more likely to be oblivious to other traffic or use their vehicle to intimidate others, but that's just my observation.
