If that's the concern

cars are far more dangerous to motor-cyclist, bicyclists and pedestrians. I drive the convertible more often than the wagon nowadays. Convertibles sit significantly lower than even sedans . . . to the degree that using drive-thru ATM's become inconvenient due to the need to reach up. Do I feel like everyone else should be forced to lower their ride height? No! If there were a law to enforce ride height, a far more "rational" and "efficient" one would be one that force everyone to ride at the height of SUV's, so that pedestrians are not lifted off their feet in a crash and road surface unitilization is more efficient (taller vehicles provide much more cargo and interior volume on the same platform length and width). That would be the end of my enjoyment of my low riding convertibil and your sedan/hatch!
