I bought my 9000 for $8000 on ebay. $500 due at end of auction, and paid the rest with a bank check in person. I did fly about 500 miles to get the car (bought round-trip ticket in case it didn't work out). The car did not have service records, but the carfax checked out ok. It was definitely a gamble, but this was about 3 years ago and the car had 50k miles and was in awesome condition and was an Aero with the right color combination. Just don't see those any more. It would be nice to have service records, but you may find that most often they are not available, and most cars are well cared for anyway. Any used car will need some attention. The one I bought did need a new DI casette immediately... Good luck.
