You're more likely to find them via some brokers or private sales. Pacific Seacraft, Island Packet and the like are generally owned by fairly serious, hard core cruising sailors. They are expensive for their size because they are so solidly built.
You probably won't find an Islander 41. They were kind of a rare boat. Racing hull with a very nice cruising interior. Comfy boat. A lot to single hand unless rigged correctly, but had potential as a long distance cruiser--with some mods.
A nice solid boat from the early 80s was the Vineyard Vixen 33. No longer made. Classic lines, more traditional interior, but a fast hull. Also hard to find as they were not a regular production boat. Delightful in a stiff wind. Great cruiser, like the Bristol or Cape Dory, but faster and more fun to sail.
As bobc notes, you can circumnavigate in a lot of boats, even normal production models. But you generally need to spend money to make them stronger, correct design flaws, build in additional storage, and make the boat something you can live aboard for an extended period. What's nice for a week's cruise isn't necessarily right for an extended passage or when living aboard in a port or anchored somewhere.
