Over 300K of each of the following vehicles were sold in the U.S. last year: Ford F-Series, Chevrolet Silverado, Ram Pickup, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, Honda Accord, Honda CR-V, Honda Civic, Nissan Altima, Toyota RAV4, Ford Escape and Ford Fusion.

As far as the Tesla pre-orders number, it doesn't (yet) represent any sales. The $1,000 deposit is 100% refundable and the pre-order customers have no obligation to buy. How many will actually follow through with a purchase two plus years from now is anybody's guess.
