It makes me happy

I have a 01 Aero. I've owned BMWs and they are wonderful cars. I was not shopping for a BMW. I was shopping used Camrys and Maximas. At 15 grand, I was crying of boredom. The only thing that could keep me awake was counting how many other Camrys I could spot in a mile of driving. I walked out of starbucks and stuck the key into the wrong Camry - my borrowed car was three stalls down - next to a Camry, or was it a Honda? I just can't remember because I have no memory of those events - there is nothing to remember. Life without memories is wasted life. My time in the Camry was dreamless sleep broken by some silly chime.
My Aero is memorable. It makes me happy. I remember moments of delight, daring and even a little healthy fear to joggle the sences. I like the grunts and whines and spinning wheels (with TCS off). It is nostalgic, like a musclecar. I like the torque steer - I like torque. It vibrates gently in my hands. It speaks to me in my language. I am not looking for a BMW - I am looking for an escape.
