That is what the tire says, I figure that the tire should state what it is ment to hold, if the tire was ment for the car it would have the appropriate psi on it. The side of the tire said max 46psi, I thougt that it was a little high so i put in at 44. I have had a great performance increase, and better gas milage, better wear on the tire, and a better ride, if i have a blow out I can sue the company for putting the wrong numbers on their tires. I mean, that is what living in america is all about, right? Plus I will be putting new tires on in a couple of months, thise ones are a little old, and once I do, I will know exactly what the new tires should be put at for best performance wear and all that. But thanks for your concern.
