Not lying, nor do I drive in a "boring" fashion. Aero 2k2.
24-25mpg city, 31-34mpg highway on flat grades. (latter with no AC)
This is a mix of about 20% bumper to bumper for 15-20 minutes, then on to stoplight to stoplight (often catching the timing at 27, 39 & 47 mph). Usual interblock runs are about 2 blocks long or more before hitting another light. Average trip length 32 miles.
The car says I'm maintaining an average speed of about 27 mph.
The higher the average speed, the better the fuel economy.
