The longer I have my Saab, the better I like it, but I think the reason they don't sell well is the initial impression. The first time you open the door and sit behind the wheel, the seats feel comfortable, but the interior looks a bit old fashioned (my opinion, of course). Then there is only one dashboard cup holder, the one in the centre console is just plain stupid. Neither the centre console nor the door pockets hold a cd, or a road map. The controls on the steering stalk are non-intuitive, look cheaply made, and are difficult to operate. The turn signal control in particular requires the strength of a lumberjack to move. All that is before the car is even started.
