I bought my Viggen 2 years ago with 76,000 miles, just passed 130,000. I see no reason the car shouldn't make it to 200,000 in about 2.5 years.
My reasoning about driving a lot: Since I drive 30,000 miles or so per year, I figure there's no point in me buying a low-mileage car. In a year or less, I will turn it into a high-mileage car anyway.
I like finding a very clean used car with a lot of highway (meaning easy, gentle) miles on it. I like paying the low price that I can get on a higher mileage car. Then I just pile on the miles, while maintaining the car well.
It's kind of a personal thing, isn't it? Everyone has a different way of looking at it.
