Yes, I do work at a computer. As my glasses still correct my vision, my prescription hasn't changed.
And turrbo, there are no stupid questions! I haven't been changing out my contacts - This same set is > 1 year old.
I'll get with my Dr. about getting new ones.
And I have to agree that elective surgery seems risky, especially when my eyes could continue to change. (I'm 31 now, been wearing glasses/contacts for 12+ years now).
And yes, wearing contacts is pretty luxurious! I really like the peripheral vision, and getting to wear high quality sunglasses. 8)
OTOH, I have a friend who had the same prescription as me, she had lasik done, and claims it was "the best thing" she's done.
So I guess I'm not concluding anything just yet, but I don't have the $$ or cajones to have laser surgery...
Thanks for all the feedback!
Jonathan
