You can cut the 10 minutes a day down to about 30 seconds total if you go to a daily wear. I wore the extended wear lenses for about 15 years before switching a year ago (Biomedics are the brand I found best for me). More comfortable, and I take them out before falling asleep, tossing them in the trash. I wear my glasses about half the week - contacts on days I'm doing something really active. I think it is a healthy mix.
