One eye for far away things and the other eye for near is loved by some and hated by others. How do you know how you will react? You should definately try contact lens and see if one contact lens for near and the other for far is right for you BEFORE you have Lasik done this way.
On a different subject, most people have both eyes done at the same time. However, I was considering having it done by expert James Salz, MD of Los Angeles. He is super careful and only does one eye at a time and the other eye a few days later. In the end, I decided not to have Lasik for now but I would go to him if I wanted it (even though I do not live in California)
