Though there may be a 'safer' image somewhat with Saabs, I think it is related more to the local cutoff for speed. My local residential road has a 15mph cushion before they ticket, unless you are doing something else stupid. Way too much for my tastes. Strangely on the main roads it is only 10mph over, and I have been ticketed twice before getting used to my new 9000 many years ago. I'm always inside that 10mph over cushion on all roads, and don't get any more tickets. Knock knock.....
