Even if people on this board recognize what a fabulous used car buy a SAAB is we are STILL helping SAAB as we support residual values. I paid roughly 2K more for my 04 9-5 ARC wagon then a bloody Toyota Matrix!!! I like it about 100000x more. My previous SAAB was new, and I kept it for 9 years...costing about 3K/year in depreciation...so far this one is about $1500/year in depreciation. Maint is about neutral. Mine was sold due to a heater problem the dealer/owner could not fix.. this board helped me fix it and it has worked flawlessly since. I think can companies should enable you to teather the car to your phone and get a diag...pay $10...and it would be awesome. Then they can refer you to a dealer. There is no point in destroying value just to keep dealers paid. Someone will do it sooner or later... may as well be ahead of the curve.
