There's so many variables when it comes to driving in snow you could a spend a life time studying the subject and still not know everything. Factor in the fact that snow itself has widely varying characteristics and it's almost impossible to know anything for sure. I've spend nearly 44 years driving in snow and having been in the car business (and driving a lot of different cars)I've paid a good bit of attention to the subject. What I've learned is that a lot of things you'd think are true aren't and there are a lot of things for which there is no logical explanation. Saabs handle snow much better than other similarly laid out cars and C900 are better than most. Don't ask me why.
