I've driven a lowered 9k, a stock height OG9-3 and a stock height 9-5 aero in snow. The 9k had 195-65-15 Blizzaks and the OG9-3 and 9-5 aero shared the same set of 205-55-16 Dunlop Wintersport M3s. The 9k was almost unstoppable, short of ground clearance. I used to go out driving in fresh snow before the plows started working just for the fun of it. The 9-5 aero was the worst, poor traction uphill, lots of ABS kicking in during braking, and poor ground clearance. I think the Wintersports didn't help, they were most like performance all season tires. For an experiment, I transferred the Wintersports to the OG9-3 the following winter and the 9-3 was significantly better than the 9-5 in the snow.
