No offense to xhawksaab, but I think this is bad advice. These cars are plagued by sludge issues because of two (avoidable) problems. First of all, the factory suggested extended oil change intervals (7500 miles or something) so that they could drive the cost of ownership down as a selling point. I wouldn't even go that long on light highway driving, let alone city stop and go. The second problem is that a few engineers who should be riding the short bus put the cat directly UNDER and close to the oil pan, literally burning the oil into a sludge. Changing your oil at or around 3k is the cheapest insurance you can buy.

I will also put it this way; why do your car the 'favor' of buying it high quality oil just to offset it with extremely high change intervals? At that point it would be far better for your car (IMO) to buy dino oil at 1/3 the price and do 3x the oil changes.
