I posted about this aways down. It's real bad around here, on certain days. Words like f*&*( and c&*&, etc., are thrown around consistently.
One of the superintendants dinged my park car and told me I shoul'd've taken the train to work.
I think if you have that kind of seniority, you should just ignore him, or give him a taste of his own medicine. Although this job has had it's painful times, one thing I have learned is how to stick up for myself when the boot drops. That's been a valuable skill not just here but in my day to day life.
There is a lesson in everything, and I wouldn't stoop to his level, but definitely make it clear that you won't put up with it.
ALSO !!! Very important - pick up a voice recorder. I religously carry it with me at work and document anytime someone says something out of line. This way, in case I ever get canned, I have some backup.
