I am sorry to hear of your plight. These type of issues are very uncomfortable and discouraging. I offer the following advise based upon my own history and that of some of my past co-workers.
Without knowing the specific details...consider the following:
1. Do not let anything effect your integrity and character. Nobody can take that away from you.
2. Memmoralize events, communications that are conducive to a bad working enviroment. Keep these in a separate folder for yourself....do not share or discuss with anyone.
3. If you feel that you have been a valuable employee over the years to the company take your problem right to the top. Before you do this, consider one of the following will happen:
A, The supervisor in charge of the manager will investigate and take appropriate action to recover a healthy working enviroment.
B, Word will get out that you took this to the top and things will get more difficult for you.
In other words you should have made up your mind that you are going to leave unless some changes can be implemented.
I have managed such situations and have been involved in the same.
